Let your heart be open to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Marriage is a spiritual act and it is a permanent one as well, so seeking the will of God requires prayer, fasting, and seeking guidance from your father of confession. Be persistent in prayer, fully willing to accept the will of God for you. Additionally, you know someone is right for you if you share a similar purpose and mission, and if being with them brings you closer to God not further from Him. But to gauge all of this, you have to really be in love with Christ and put Him at the center of your life. When you do this, you allow the Holy Spirit to really reveal His will for you. As it is written, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matt 6:33)
