"LOVE" Pt. 2

In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, in One God Amen!

"LOVE" Pt. 2

Between men “what’s the reason love can’t rule?” Mankind desires love want to live abundant in it. This desire stops because it's only fantasied not realistic, then this desire vanishes. Apostle James has preached about faith and work. "For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, even so, faith apart from works is dead" (James 2:26). Faith is unseen by our naked eyes so is love but loving others is an action of us, which can be seen the same as work.

If we Christians are imitators of Christ who is "LOVE," let us not be a struggle for others. We have been preached multiple times, but we never seem to change, even those who aren't in our congregation have seen this. As Mahatma Gandhi most known quote states, "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." Apostle James told us to "Live as Jesus did, and the world will listen." But our words must follow our action, we must be “doers of the word, and not only hearers" (James 1:21-27).

Mahatma Gandhi has rebuked us and gave us a remedy to "Live as Christ did." But "If your Lord is too high an example for you, turn your thoughts upon your fellow-servant" (St. Augustine). As Christians, our load might seem heavy or too much to bear but we must still obey the command of our LORD and his followers. As Apostle St Paul demanded we have to remember those who “… have the rule over [us], who have spoken unto [us] the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation” (Hebrews 13:7 KJV).

Let us check our own lives and love one another!

To conclude reflect on these words: "Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law." ~ Romans 13:10

"And now these three remain faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love." ~ 1 Corinthians 13:13

"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." ~ 1 Peter 4:8

"Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." ~ 1 John 4:7

"Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another." ~ 1 John 4:11

"And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister." ~ 1 John 4:21

"And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity." ~ Colossians 3:14

"See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so, we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him." ~ 1 John 3:1

“To love Christ means not to be a hireling, not to look upon a noble life as an enterprise or trade, but to be a true benefactor and to do everything only for the sake of love for God.” St. John Chrysostom,

“A tree is known by its fruit; a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost; he who sows courtesy reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love… We need not only read Sacred Scripture but learn it as well and grow up in it. Realize that nothing is written in Scripture unnecessarily. Not to read Sacred Scripture is a great evil…. There is still time for endurance, time for patience, time for healing, time for a change. Have you slipped? Rise up. Have you sinned? Cease. Do not stand among sinners but leap aside.” ― St. Basil the Great

"By loving your enemy, you become a friend of God" (Caesarius Bishop of Arles).

"Ye who love Him, weep and mourn over him" (Ge’ze KidassieAnaphora of Saint John Chrysostom)

"Remember your leaders, men who spoke to you the word of God, and considering the results of their conduct, imitate their faith" (Hebrews 13:7 KJV)

Glory to One Almighty God, Amen!
